CEM Course in Bogota

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), in collaboration with the Colombian Council for Energy Efficiency(CCEE) and the AEE Colombia Chapter in Development as local partners, organized the prestigious preparation course to become CEM certified in Bogotá. This course was held August 24-29 and is already a success in terms of turnout.

The CEM (Certified Energy Manager) certification is the highest international recognition of all those available through AEE. It has been around for more than 30 years and is held by 15,000 people around the world.

AEELATAM, the AEE training organization specialized in Latin America, has kicked off this course along with the Colombian Council for Energy Efficiency (CCEE), a non-profit organization set up in December 2010 working towards increased energy efficiency and greater use of renewable energy in Colombia. Likewise, CCEE has been a corporate member of AEE since 2011 and now promotes and supports training and certification of energy management professionals (CEM).

This course held in Bogotá has been coordinated by Andrés Ortuño, a member of the AEE International CEM Certification AEE board, and former president of the AEE Spain Chapter.
